It's been a while, I won't deny it. After Katrina, I just haven't been able, or have the time to update on DA, and I've rarely had time to do art. But I haven't given up on cosplay! As for past upsets... when you see what looks like the end of civilization as you know it dropped on your doorstep in a twisted parody of Dorothy stepping out of the House, you realize that small things don't matter... and the wonderful things in life... like Starbucks, people, fresh food, and air conditioning... should have that energy poured into appreciating a LOT more! The end of the last year was painful and complicated what with moving and my computer dying on me before it. Now the festivities and family reunion is over, I'm open to business! Now, here are my views of doujinshi and fanart. It is fine to use another person's character in fanfics, fanart, or doujinshi as long as you don't try to claim credit for it. I may not neccessarily like a person in general, but if they use my characters without changing them and claiming credit for them, then I am a happy camper.
